"I am here for you, you are here for me, we are here for each other"

Grief is hard. Being around people who understand can help make grief feel more manageable. At Ronnie’s House for Hope, we understand that everyone’s grief journey is personal and that the best support comes from listening, sharing, and being together.

Our Programs

Ronnie’s House for Hope specializes in peer-based grief support groups and education. We offer school-based grief support groups, adult groups, and family-based groups. Ronnie’s House for Hope utilizes an evidence-based childhood bereavement model, called The Dougy Model.

Our Mission

Ronnie's House for Hope provides support for children, teens, and their families following a death. We do this through peer support groups and education. Offering a safe place for sharing experiences, feelings, developing coping skills, and making connections with others who understand.

About Ronnie’s House

Ronnie’s House for Hope was founded in 2018 in honor of Ronnie Loza. Ronnie was a husband and father, when he died, his wife and two children were left to grieve alone. The Coachella Valley needed a specialized grief support program that served all ages, so Jennifer Loza made it her mission to conceptualize the Valley’s only peer-based grief focused support program. Tragically, in 2020, Jennifer lost her youngest son, Steven, to a Fentanyl poisoning. Jennifer hopes that Ronnie’s House for Hope can be a safe haven for grieving families like hers.
